We are now only a month away from this year's Hemlock Happening. It will be held on Saturday 11th June in Bramcote Hills Park. I have a special attachment to this event in that I chair the meetings of the Bramcote and Stapleford Golden Jubilee Group, the group of volunteers who started the event back in 2002, the year we celebrated the Queen's Golden Jubilee. This year, we hope the 15th Hemlock Happening will provide the same level of enthusiasm and excitement as have many of those that preceded it. We start at 1pm and the firework finale is at 10pm. The Hemlock Happening is a free event open to anyone who wants to come to enjoy the music, dance, sports and exhibits that are provided. This year we will also be paying tribute to Queen Elizabeth II on her 90th birthday. Do come and enjoy the day. Please note that it is an outdoor event and you may want to bring an umbrella if it is wet.
