Conflicts outside our schools!

It's the start of term again and once again I am receiving messages about arguments outside school in our area. These arise when parents drop their children off at or pick them up from school and manage to cause significant obstructions to other road users at the same time. Yesterday I heard about problems at the junction of Blake Road and Toton Lane and also Brookhill Street and Toton Lane. Can I ask people to be tolerant of one another? In consequence to yesterday's problems the County Council are already looking at placing double yellow lines at these junctions. The police have also been asked to look out for obstructive parking.

Shows the importance of schools being within their communities, within 20 minutes walk. Mind looking at the size of some of the droppers off 30 minutes might be a better option.
